Terms & Conditions

The terms governing your Prestige online trade account — ordering, payment, delivery and how Prestige Points work.

Prestige Food and Wine Ltd · B2B online accounts

1 — Online Accounts

1.1

prestigebuyonline.com is the B2B online branch of Prestige Food and Wine Ltd, with an established history of importing and distributing Italian food and drink at competitive prices. Online accounts benefit from cheaper prices than our standard catalogue and are only available to the catering trade.

1.2

Accounts are subject to confirmation of business. Private accounts will not be accepted.

2 — Placing your order

2.1

For local deliveries, orders can be placed up until 12 midnight the day before your established delivery day.

2.2

For deliveries outside our routes (National Delivery Service), orders can be placed at any time. We aim to deliver within 48 hours of receipt, subject to location.

2.3

Minimum order for delivery to most postcodes is £100.00; some postcodes require a larger minimum, confirmed before your account is enabled. You can place multiple orders with no minimum after your original qualifying order.

2.4

Where stock is unavailable we will send a replacement of similar price and quality. If you do not wish to keep it, a refund will be issued.

3 — Payment

3.1

At checkout, always complete the payment confirmation and security steps in the Barclaycard screen. Failure to do so leads to automatic cancellation of your order.

3.2

Online accounts benefit from lower prices as payment is due at time of purchase. Payment is captured only after an invoice is raised, to allow for stock changes and variable-weight items such as cheese and charcuterie.

3.3

Where items or orders are added manually (standing orders, log-in issues, etc.), payment is due automatically via bank-encrypted details. We do not store your card information. By holding an online account you agree payment is captured at invoicing.

3.4

Refunds/credits for damaged, missing or rejected items are issued back to the account used for the original order, within 3 working days of the relevant documents reaching accounts.

4 — Delivery

4.1

Delivery days to your postcode are fixed and confirmed as part of account approval; they are also visible and selectable at checkout.

4.2

Deliveries outside our fleet routes use a palletised service (up to 1,200kg) at a fixed cost that varies by location, confirmed before account approval.

4.3

We deliver from 4am and aim to reach you as early as possible. Where possible we encourage out-of-hours access so goods can be left securely — arrange this by email.

4.4

Deliveries must be checked and signed for by staff. Any issues must be reported within 24 hours. For items not fit for consumption, inform us with photographic evidence via WhatsApp and keep items for collection where possible.

5 — Ordering Portal users

5.1

If you use Prestige as an ordering portal, sections 2 and 4 apply.

5.2

Payment terms for portal users remain as agreed — no payment is due at point of ordering — but failure to meet payment terms can lead to your account being blocked.

5.3

Any returns are compensated as a credit to your account per your original terms agreement.

6 — Prestige Points

Earn Prestige Points every time you order online and redeem them against future orders.

Points are earned on qualifying online orders and shown in your account. Selected products carry bonus points, highlighted on the product page.

Refer another catering business and you will be rewarded with points once their account is active and their first order is placed.

Redeem and manage your points online at checkout. Points hold no cash value, are non-transferable, and may be adjusted where an order is refunded or cancelled.
